Boot Trend: Two Toned Boots!

A Traveler’s Best Friend

As I mentioned in a previous blog, I spent a few days in Napa recently. I had never been to California, therefore I had no idea what kind of weather or atmosphere to expect. I packed a little bit of everything. 

I checked the weather several times, so I did know to plan to wear layers. The weather in Napa is perfect! It starts off cool in the morning, then warms up beautifully without humidity. 

Due to my uncertainty, I felt the need to really be prepared with my accessories. I brought a standard shoulder handbag, as well as a clutch, that transitioned nicely from day to-night.

Then there was the jewelry. I will admit I went overboard, but I didn’t know what to expect.

I was so thrilled with how well-organized I was able to be due to this little jewel here.

10 Tips To Good Health…

While I was on vacation in California, we spent a day in San Francisco. I loved the city! I was a little nervous the first time we road on a street car, but on the way back to our car I was totally at home.

The sea lions at Pier 39 were adorable, and a bit smelly. It was just an incredible vacation.

I discovered this adorable little specialty boutique that sells aromatic bath and body care products for the body and soul, Laline.(use the link to visit their website)

I loved their body scrub and complimentary scents of body cream. They make for an amazingly, relaxing bath. I purchased the strawberry scrub and vanilla cream! The two smell incredible when used together or separately.

Hello! I’m Back!

I have so much to tell you all! I took a few weeks off from blogging, due to life being so hectic.

It was total crazy town at Plum. We had a ten-day renovation sale. We remodeled the back of the store. Plum was closed for two days!!! I am still shocked at all they accomplished in just three days.

When we reopened, we celebrated our brand new look! (Of course, we are Plum Girls, celebrating is what we do!) Lisa and a few other Sorrelli girls came to help us celebrate with a fabulous party! Mary Ann made us look fancy with all of her party planning and decorating skills! We are so thankful for our faithful friends!

A few days before we closed, I left town with my hubby to celebrate our 10th anniversary. He took me on a trip of a lifetime. We went to Napa Valley, CA. I loved every relaxing, exciting moment of it! I missed everyone and all my kiddos, so it was good to be home. However, I am trying to bring as much “Napa” home with me as possible. I am trying to create a relaxing place to drink coffee in the mornings. I want to plant new flowers around my front porch. As you would expect, I have now become a wine snob!

It was truly amazing.  I look forward to sharing all the things I experienced on my trip, as well as keep you up to date on The Plum Girls!

Game Day Fashion Trends

The last couple of years game day fashion has become so much more than your favorite team’s t-shirt. It started by adding jewelry to a team shirt, and now it is adorable team color dresses, tops and skirts.

I know the title to this sounds a little lame, but I promise this blog is worth your time to read.

Lately I have been in a rut with my hair, makeup, clothes. It is mostly due to the fact that I am heavier than I prefer to be. However, I cannot let myself go! I am a girly girl!

I went straight to Pintrest! One of my all time favorite, inspiration resources. If you are looking for ideas on hair, makeup, fashion, home decor, Pinterest is a great place to look. In an effort to get out of this rut, I started with Pinterest hair styles. This led to You Tube.

You Tube video tutorials are amazing! You can literally find a tutorial on anything. You can even search for product reviews on You Tube. 

My favorite You Tube tutorials are all about hairstyles and new beauty trends.

This past weekend, I discovered how to master the “messy bun” hairstyle. Thank you You Tube. It will likely be my new go to, 2nd day, hairstyle.

With the fall season fast approaching, once again we are faced with the transition of fashion. If you are searching for inspiration check out You Tube and Pinterest! They are a Plum Girl favorite.
